Steps being taken to ban bump stocks

First, I've never owned one, nor have I had a desire to own one.  This article points out that the Executive branch has NO authority to ban anything.  Any law banning a firearm, or anything else, unconstitutional as that may be, must come from Congress.  The constitution gives the Executive branch NO authority to ban anything.  But these days, separation of powers is ignored and meaningless.  DC does whatever the hell it wants.

NYC: No Criminal Charges For Muslim Firefighter Who Threatened To Kill Colleagues

Well, it's NYC, so liberals giving preferential treatment to minorities and violent minorities at that is nothing new.  Hey, on the bright side, his "mental health" treatment under the FDNY's benefit plan won't result in a mentally deficient adjudication, so he'll still be able to legally buy firearms.  I'm sure his fellow employees feel much safer that he's getting mental help.  Here's another ticking time bomb ready to commit workplace jihad because he claims he was teased.  There are rules and laws for dealing with workplace harassment, but this Moozlum thought it would be OK to threaten to kill his co-workers.
