God, Jerusalem and American Foreign Policy

This article, God, Jerusalem and American Foreign Policy, by Caroline Glick, is very informative on the BHO administration's attempt to appear to support Israel.  Its also insightful into the fickle American public's view on foreign policy.

It is obvious that the Demoncrats realized that the absence of God in their official party platform and not taking a stance to support Israel was going to be detrimental to them in a close race.  So they thought they could change the wording of their platform and give word service to two issues that the mainstream majority of Americans felt strongly about.  What they did not count on was the opposition they would encounter from their own radical base.  The delegates actually booed God at the convention!

BHO's administration has caught heat over this last year because his State Dept. refuses to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.  Now that the Demoncrats have officially  declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, I call on BHO to move our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  Michael Brown's article Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem points out that the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, passed by both houses of Congress, calls for moving the embassy there, but the act allows for 6 month Presidential waivers and every President has passed a waiver.

The lip service needs to end.  The U.S. embassy should be moved to Jerusalem expeditiously.

Here are some great articles I found that summarize the Demoncrat convention and expound on the topic of the Demoncrats booing God.  And you wondered whey they were called Demoncrats?
