In another barbaric act of mass murder, a member of the "religion of peace" killed 39 people and injured 69 when a lone terrorist committed the first major terrorist attack of 2017 at Instanbul's upscale Reina nightclub. Security forces failed to prevent the attack. Security forces failed to stop the attack. A witness interviewed stated that the shooting and explosions lasted for 20 minutes.
