For the past couple of weeks, the fires of the Benghazi scandal have been burning brightly since the surfacing of a very damaging e-mail. The flames have become so hot that Congress just convened an investigation into the White House and State Department’s obvious cover-up.

While everyone is focused on what the ‘smoking gun’ email says, Walid Shoebat noticed something about who was included in the recipients of the email that should be just as scandalous as the email itself. Shoebat, a former Palestinian Muslim extremist turned Christian, noticed that one of the recipients of the email was Mehdi K. Alhassani. His name was included with White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, NSC Deputy Press Secretary and others.

Unless you were well versed in the who’s who of American Islamic extremists, you would pass right over Alhassani’s name without a clue as to who he is. But Shoebat readily recognized the name and has sounded an alarm. According to Shoebat:

    “Alhassani was the leader of the Muslim Student Association (MSA), a Muslim Brotherhood front group and attended the sister mosque of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC) mosque attended by the Boston Marathon bombers. It is a mystery how Alhassani slipped through the cracks to become a Special Assistant to the Office of the Chief of Staff, National Security Council Staff, and Executive Office of the President. It is unknown why a few hours before the Benghazi attack, Alhassani met in the White House with Samir Mayekar, a George Soros ‘fellow’ for an unscheduled visit.”

    “As to Alhassani’s affiliations with Islamist groups, the proof is found in a document published by the Islamic Institute of Boston (IIB) entitled, Participants at the Citizen Dialogue Group. One of the participants of this U.S. State Department initiative was Mehdi Alhassani. The Arms Trade Treaty would greatly restrict the sale and commerce of many weapons, including small arms across international borders and even within borders.

When it comes to self-defense, Hillary doesn’t even respond to help her own ambassadors. There is a plethora of evidence that Ambassador Christopher Stevens requested more protection and defense for at least six months prior to the attack on the Benghazi consulate that resulted in the death of Stevens and three other Americans. But Hillary continually declined to send the help and defense that would have protected Stevens and the others in the Benghazi compound.

There is no doubt that Hillary Clinton will continue to attack the Second Amendment rights of Americans, just like Obama has. Her goal, without doubt, is to disarm the American people, making them more vulnerable to attack and less able to defend themselves against any and all intruders, domestic or foreign.

In my book, this makes Hillary Clinton an enemy of the US Constitution and therefore an enemy of the United States. As such, she should never be allowed to hold any public office ever again.

The Saga of Boko Haram and Hashtag Diplomacy

If you ask most Americans about Boko Harum, they might think you’re talking about the psychedelic rock band Procol Harum, best known for “A Whiter Shade of Pale.” But this band is a group of Islamic terrorists who are deadly serious about their craft, including the kidnapping of hundreds of Nigerian schoolgirls in April.

In an effort at social media diplomacy, First Lady Michelle Obama was photographed with a sad face and holding a sign with the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls. This seems to be in conjunction with a second social media effort by some Hollywood actors who play tough guys on screen admonishing the terrorists that #RealMenDontBuyGirls – one threat made by Boko Harum was to “sell them in the market, by Allah.” It doesn’t seem that a Twitter hashtag game would dissuade them.

Unfortunately, in the real world, there isn’t much that can be done to Boko Harum at the moment, at least not without potentially putting the kidnapping victims at risk. The group was on the State Department’s radar screen, but then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton resisted for two years labeling it a terrorist group, which may have hampered our present ability to respond.

The obvious question is why did the State Department resist? A look at the timing and narrative provides the answer. After Boko Harum bombed the UN headquarters in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja, the CIA, the FBI and others urged the State Department to place the group on the list of foreign terrorist organizations. The group had ties to al-Qaida, however, which Barack Obama claimed he had “decimated.” Hence, no terror designation for Boko Harum. Clinton can tweet, “We must stand up to terrorism,” all she wants, but that doesn’t explain her dereliction of duty in doing just that when she actually had authority.

Trying to manage Obama’s flailing foreign policy, there’s no question the State Department is also suffering greatly under the feckless leadership of John Kerry. But our bitter foreign policy harvest was sown by Clinton. Had sanity prevailed, Boko Harum would have been added to our terrorist watch list two years ago. Instead, as Andrew McCarthy writes at National Review, “Mrs. Clinton and President Obama have convinced themselves that they know more about Islam than Muslim terrorists do, and that the peaceful, pliable, progressive Islam they have concocted somehow renders the jihadists' Islam false.” There are over 200 Nigerian girls and young women who would beg to differ.

This self-deception has proven dangerous and destructive, and the new hashtag for the Obama/Clinton/Kerry State Department should be #CriminalIncompetence. Finally, if nothing else, we see once again that Clinton is utterly unfit to serve as commander in chief.

Moreover, no one has been arrested, prosecuted, or punished for the murders of our fellow Americans. These outstanding questions, and others, are legitimate, and seeking the answer to these questions should be an apolitical process.
Facts are neither Republican nor Democrat. While our fellow citizens are free to draw varying conclusions and inferences from the facts, surely there can be consensus that every relevant fact must be uncovered.
There are still witnesses whose testimony has not been heard. Just last week, we learned the administration has withheld relevant documents from Congress, despite a subpoena request. Some produced documents are so heavily redacted as to be meaningless. The select committee should strive to uncover every relevant witness, document or other piece of evidence so our fellow citizens can know the facts and the full truth.

They were pleased that the Museum will also feature photos of Muslims mourning 9/11, but wanted nothing at the Museum that would speak to the motive behind the biggest and bloodiest attack on the homeland in US history.

Close to 3,000 of our friends, family, and first responders being slaughtered wasn't terrible enough. We have to be polite to the slaughterers?

If the Museum went to the trouble of showing Muslims who mourned 9/11, did the museum also devote space to the Muslims who danced on 9/11 in Queens, New Jersey, Europe and the Middle East? If not, why not?

A Manhattan imam, Sheikh Mostafa Elazabawy, told the New York Times:

The screening of this film in its present state would greatly offend our local Muslim believers as well as any foreign Muslim visitor to the museum. Unsophisticated visitors who do not understand the difference between Al Qaeda and Muslims may come away with a prejudiced view of Islam, leading to antagonism and even confrontation toward Muslim believers near the site.

So apparently he is claiming that we cannot tell the truth about what happened on 9/11, because racist, bigoted Islamophobes will then attack innocent Muslims. There is absolutely no basis in reality for this claim, as anti-Semitic hate attacks are eight times more common than anti-Muslim attacks as it is, but Islamic supremacists cry victimhood whenever and wherever they can, in order to deflect attention away from the ugly truth of jihad violence.

Akbar Ahmed of American University said:

When you associate their religion with what they did, then you are automatically including, by association, one and a half billion people who had nothing to do with these actions and who ultimately the U.S. would not want to unnecessarily alienate.

It was CAIR that demanded that the Associated Press stop using the word Islamist. It is Muslim Brotherhood groups that, in the ultimate deception, demand that jihad be removed from the descriptions of jihad attacks.

The first shooting was the FedEx that you likely saw in the news or read about.  FedEx is a gun free zone.  I once worked at one of their package handling facilities and you can't even take a pocket knife into the facility.  The other shooting was in Texas, the the intended victim had a gun.  Guess how that turned out for Mr. Workplace Violence?  Libtards refuse to accept the obvious and as a result many innocents die.  When will Americans wake up and stop putting libtards in charge?

Look, I get it. Some people really don't like guns. They frighten you. They frighten me, too... as do knives, bombs, and broken bottles in the hands of maniacs. But a gun in the hands of a responsible citizen... it just might save your life—and/or your children's lives—one day.

CDC: First US case of deadly virus MERS reported in Indiana

MERS has arrived in the U.S.  It is a deadly corona virus.  It is killing between 1/3 - 1/2 of people that contract it.  This disease originated in the middle east and is thought to be contracted by humans eating camel meat, and is highly contagious, as evidenced my health care workers that care for the infected contracting it readily.  This has the potential for a pandemic, as vaccines are just now being researched.  400 people in the middle east with the disease did not justify a vaccine, but the potential for pandemic in the U.S. does.  The actual manufacture of a vaccine is a long way off.
