Bombings in Volgograd

I was reading last week about the winter Olympics being held in Sochin, Russia.  Why would the OIC pick a city where they have to stockpile snow under insulated blankets and use snow cannons to to build/maintain the events?  It has to be money.  Putin's friends are getting rich off the contracts for the winter Olympics.  Why would Russia pick a location where they have to use 40-50,000 security forces to protect the Olympics?

Three bombings in 3 months in Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad).  In October a black widow blew herself up on a bus killing 6 and injuring 30.  On 12/29/13 another black widow blew herself up in front of a train station metal detector killing 18.  Hours later on 12/30/13, another homicide bomber blew up a bus killing 14 and wounding 30.  That's significant and must be answered by the government.  Putin has vowed to annihilate the terrorists.  Communism has proved to be one of the worst forms of government imaginable.  It makes everyone equally miserable, except the corrupt leadership that lives in luxury.  But the one thing you can count on from communist leaders is their zero tolerance for terrorism.  When the Chinese take over the world as the lone super power, the one thing I'm sure they will do is crush Islamic terrorism.
