Here's a revelation: communists don't care about the environment. They care about controlling their people with whatever means necessary. I've long known from my time working in the environmental health field that China has no regard for its people or the environment. I've seen pictures of their battery factories and the surrounding countryside looks like something out of Lord of the Rings after an army of Orcs has come through. The devastated land will obviously never produce again. Frankly, I'm surprised that they publicly admitted to 8 million acres of land being polluted and not farmable. I guess the communist politburo ain't what it used to be.
Remember the recent news about pet food from China that was killing pets? Remember how much cleanup China had to do for the Olympics? If you value your health, don't buy any food products from China.
