Muhammad Abdullah Hassan, aka Booker, Sought by FBI For Planning ‘Ft. Hood-inspired jihad’

On Monday this was front page news.  I found it very interesting that the "news" didn't give the suspect's full name, they only referred to him as 'Booker' and by his Moozlum convert name.  The next day it was a non-story and the FBI stated they were not looking for him.  Why?  A Moozlum convert, and there are few who are as fervent as a convert, posted on his facebook page that he wanted to die in jihad and commit a Fort Hood style attack, yet the FBI says there is no threat and they're not looking for him.  Remember, all Islam is radical.

“We have interviewed this individual,” an FBI spokesman said. “There is not a manhunt and there never was one. There is no imminent threat to public safety, nor should the public be concerned that this threat exists from an individual at large."

The FBI and the U.S. Army are searching for a recent Army recruit believed to be planning a “Fort Hood-inspired jihad against U.S. soldiers.”

The recruit, Booker, is also known as Muhammad Abdullah Hassan.

He was recruited by the U.S. Army in Kansas City, Missouri in February 2014 and was scheduled to start basic training on April 7.

But he was discharged last week after law enforcement learned of his alleged plan, reported Fox News.

The FBI and the 902d Military Intelligence Group at Fort Leavenworth are involved in the hunt for Hassan.

An alert, which Fox News obtained a copy of, was distributed through the Marine Corps after being sent out by the FBI’s Kansas City office.

It was titled “Planned Fort Hood-inspired Jihad against US Soldiers by Army Recruit” and issued “to inform and protect officers who may encounter this individual or others exhibiting the same aspirations.”

Hassan’s Facebook page is full of postings about jihad, including this one on March 19:

“Getting ready to be killed in jihad is a HUGE adrenaline rush!! I am so nervous. NOT because I’m scared to die but I am EAGER to meet my lord.”

He said in an earlier post on March 15:

“Oh those of the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad(S). I will soon be leaving you forever so goodbye! I am going to wage jihad and hopes that i die. I want to be with my lord so bad that I cry but I will miss you guys I am not going to lie. I wish I could give you guys more but I am just a guy who is so very poor. I am telling you I am so broke that my pockets are sore:) I cannot wait to go the Prophet Muhammad’s(S) door and prank Isa bin Maryam and party so hard that it will rock Jannah to its core. Only Allah knows what the future has in store so that should make you fear Allah much much more.”
